our dear friend, and master saxophonist ANDREW D'ANGELO had a giant seizure three weeks ago while driving his 80 year old landlady to the grocery store.  when he was brought to the hospital they discoverd a massive brain tumor to be the reason behind the seizure.  he's since had brain surgery to remove the tumor and has been diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma (latin for brain cancer).

andrew has been blogging about his experiences over the last few weeks with incredible courage (make sure to scroll down to follow the threads), and the story he tells is absolute inspiration.

like many of us, there's no health insurance around for miles and therefore...
